Parsley The Rabbit

This story comes from Jackie, one of our regular customers:)

Introducing Parsley: I know you don’t "do" bunnies, but I wanted to share her story.

Parsley The Rabbit

I may have mentioned her before, but for the last couple of months she has what the Vet suspected (they never seem 100% certain about bunny problems) was E. Cuniculi – a parasite that affects the brain and spinal cord. Apparently 50% of the rabbit population carries the protozoa but it doesn’t cause any problem until they get sick, rather like HIV in people.

Anyway, while Parsley has been having her anti-parasite medication, I’ve been using your shampoos and soothe creams to take away the irritation and soreness of her skin. Her symptoms included loss of control of her lower spine (hind legs and bladder), meaning she sits in her own urine much of the time, and this makes her smelly and sore.

Her skin went very crusty and flaky, and I thought she might have a mite problem, too, so I used your MicroNeem solution a couple of times, as well as the Manuka & Neem Shampoo, and the Super Souffle Cream on the crusty skin. The result is that her skin is clean and healthy, and the crusty flakes all gone, even though she’s lost most of her fur on her rear end.

I took her for a check-up yesterday and the Vet was impressed. He said the only reason she’s coping with the affliction is because she’s been nursed so carefully. I have your products to thank for that. Thanks ever so much:) I don’t expect Parsley to completely recover the control of her hind legs, but I’m glad to know she feels more comfortable.
